You want to learn to dive but don't have the time left on this trip to do the whole Open Water Course.  No problem!!  PADI's new Scuba Diver program lets you take half of the Open Water program over only two days.  Included are 3 theory presentations, 3 pool training and 2 open water training dives.  At the end of the two days, you'll get the PADI Scuba Diver Certification, and you'll be able to dive with a PADI professional to depths of up to 12 metres anywhere in the world.  After is you wish you only have to do is find two more training days to upgrade to PADI Open Water diver.  Like all PADI certifications, this is internationally recognized.
